Can Resolve® remove grease stains from clothes?
Resolve® can remove grease stains from clothes, so there’s no need to demote stained items to house clothes if they get covered in greasy marks. For best results, pre-treat the stain using Resolve Oxi-Action® Trigger and follow these easy steps:
Step 1
Dab the stain away with a paper towel or clean dishcloth, which should draw out the stain
Step 2
Spray the product directly onto the stain, covering it completely
Step 3
Leave the solution to work for 5 minutes maximum and rub the product into the stain
Step 4
Wash according to the care level instructions in the warmest water recommended
Important:
Always follow the instructions on the back of the packaging and follow the washing instructions on the garment.
Tips
Cover up – defence is the best offence! Designate a few old, worn clothes that you don’t mind getting covered in grease as your go-to outfit when handling greasy car parts. Or, invest in overalls can help protect your clothes from any grease splatters that you encounter.
Avoid water – you’d be forgiven for thinking that water would remove grease from your clothes. Since oils are hydrophobic, water doesn’t break them down and can actually make the stains more pronounced. So, avoid using water on the stain, unless you are soaking with some Resolve®.
