How to remove make-up from carpet

It pays to act fast when you need to remove make-up from your carpet. You’ll need to grab a clean paper towel or cloth and blot the make-up stain until you have removed as much product as possible. Then, follow these simple instructions using Resolve® Carpet Stain Remover Trigger:

Step 1

Spray directly onto the affected carpet area and rub gently

Step 2

Leave the product on for 5 minutes (max)

Step 3

Heavy stains may require a second application

Important:

Always read the label on the packaging before applying the product. Do not use Resolve® on silk or oriental rugs or for brocade and carpets that are unsuitable for wet cleaning.

Tips

Air dry is best – Like most stains, once you’ve washed the garment, it’s better to allow it to air dry than throwing it in the dryer. This is because tumble driers will cause makeup to set into the fabric – making it even harder to remove stains the second time around.

General advice:

  • Please refer to the packaging for specific product usage and advice.

  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS. Store the product only in the original container and always fasten the lid.

  • Do not expose product to direct sunlight.

  • Before use check for colour fastness by testing a hidden area of the fabric. When using the Resolve® Carpet range, test on an inconspicuous area of the rug or carpet.

  • For best results it may be necessary to repeat parts of the process.
