How to Remove Blood Stains

It can be easy to panic when you see blood and but there’s no need to worry about getting those stains out. Whether it’s a recent stain or it’s old and dried into the fabric, simply use Resolve® and let blood stains be a problem of the past.

To remove blood stains from all your garments, the secret is to always rinse the stain with cold water before soaking (as this helps the blood break down and dissolve). Warm or hot water will set the stain, making it harder to remove – not ideal!

How to remove blood stains from coloured clothes
To eliminate blood stains from coloured clothes, rinse the item with cold water on both sides and blot the affected area with a clean damp dishcloth. Then, use Resolve Oxi-Action® Powder with these simple steps:
Step 1
Mix ½ a scoop of the Resolve® powder with 10 ml of water (max 40°) to form a paste
Step 2
Gently rub the paste into the stain using the scoop provided
Step 3
Leave the formula on the stain for 5 minutes maximum
Step 4
Pour an additional scoop of Resolve® powder into your washing machine or in the dispenser for High Efficiency (HE) machines. Do not mix the powder with liquid HE detergent in the dispenser.
How to remove blood stains from sheets
To remove blood stains from sheets, rinse the item with cold water on both sides and blot the affected area with a wet dishcloth. Then, use Resolve Oxi-Action® Powder with these simple steps:
Step 1
Mix ½ a scoop of the Resolve® powder with 10 ml of water (max 40°) to form a paste
Step 2
Gently rub the paste into the stain using the scoop provided
Step 3
Leave the formula on the stain for 5 minutes maximum
Step 4
Pour an additional scoop of Resolve® powder into your washing machine or in the dispenser for High Efficiency (HE) machines. Do not mix the powder with liquid HE detergent in the dispenser.
Your best chance of fully removing the stain is to treat it as soon as possible by rinsing it out with cold water and treating it with Resolve®.
